What better way to celebrate the start of summer than with a Trail Run and a Country Market? For the fit and the adventurous, the Groote Post Country Run will give you an early start leading into the market. So, put some spring in your step with a choice of three trails, all featuring stunning views of mountains and the ocean:

Registration opens at 06h00 and the first runners head off at 08h30. Coffee and breakfast will be on offer as well as a secure, supervised Kid-Zone where runners can leave their little ones in the care of experienced child-minders. The finish line is always a welcome sight as the festive atmosphere of the market greets you on your return. There are shower facilities for those wanting to freshen up before taking on the market and relaxing into an easy summer afternoon.
This event uses Timing Chips with LiveTime. The chip is compulsory. You will not be allowed to start the event without a chip.

Venue Groote Post Vineyards, Darling Hills Road
Directions: Follow the R27, the West Coast Road towards Langebaan. Turn right onto the Darling Hills Road opposite Grotto Bay turnoff. After 10 km, turn right to the Groote Post cellar. Alternatively, take the R307 out of Darling towards Cape Town and turn off at the Darling Hills Road. After 7 km turn left to the Groote Post Cellar.
